Yes - I did experience incredible uninhibited sex with "real men" (probably married) in some of Instanbul's hamams. But just because many (most?) Turks do get their rocks off with other men doesn't mean they are liberal. Most probably think they aren't doing something gay. This is a prerogative that "real men", fathers and married men can do. "Just do - don't tell." This attitude can be horny - but also very sad.
