The poll shows that there are as many DD men who use the chat feature as those who don't. So I have activated Chat again - the faster page loading is not really a reason to turn it off.
To make it more popular I would suggest that you do the following.
First thing you do when you load Datedick is Pop Out the Chat window. Chat lives in the bottom bar and the Pop Out Icon is the second from the right.
Just put the chat window to a convenient place on your desktop and let it sit - you can resize it. Now do your usual browsing on DD. This is handy because you
a) see who's online
b) you can follow public chat
c) you can private chat with your buddies
d) go offline (in chat) - so you can browse Datedick without being visible in the Who's online list
give it a try and let's see how popular we can make it.
